Who we are

Rikisborgaraprof.is is operated by Testrada Pte Ltd, a company registered in Singapore. We provide online preparation tools for the Icelandic citizenship language test (ríkisborgarapróf). We are not affiliated with Mímir, Miðstöð menntunar og skólaþjónustu, or any Icelandic government body.

What data we collect

When you create an account or make a purchase, we collect your email address and, if provided, your name. When you use the platform, we store your practice results, scores, and progress data so you can track your improvement. For speaking exercises, we temporarily process audio recordings for evaluation — these are not stored permanently.

Payment processing

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to all payment data: stripe.com/privacy.

How we use your data

We use your data to provide the service (delivering practice tests, tracking your progress, sending results), to communicate with you about your account, and to improve the platform. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party services

We use the following services to operate the platform: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and security), SMTP2GO (transactional email), and OpenAI / Anthropic (AI evaluation of writing and speaking responses). Your practice submissions may be processed by these AI providers to generate feedback — they do not retain your data for training purposes.

Data retention

Your account data and practice results are retained for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, contact us at [email protected] and we will process your request within 30 days.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. If you are located in the EEA or Iceland, you may also have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Terms of Service

The service

Rikisborgaraprof.is provides AI-powered practice simulations for the Icelandic citizenship language test. Our platform is a preparation tool only — we do not administer the official exam, guarantee any specific result, or confer any official certification.

Account & access

When you purchase access, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the platform. Your account is for your individual use only — sharing login credentials is not permitted. Access does not expire ("lifetime access"), meaning you retain access for as long as the platform operates.

AI-generated feedback

Writing and speaking evaluations are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI feedback is indicative, not definitive. It should be used as a study aid alongside other preparation methods. We do not guarantee that AI scores correspond to official exam grades.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer or scrape the platform, share or redistribute content or exam materials, use the service for any unlawful purpose, or create multiple accounts to circumvent payment. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Intellectual property

All content on this platform — including questions, audio, texts, and evaluations — is the property of Testrada Pte Ltd / CivicLearn and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or publish any content without prior written permission.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". We make every effort to ensure quality and uptime, but we are not liable for: interruptions or technical issues, inaccuracies in AI-generated feedback, or the outcome of your official exam. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with the platform for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase date — no questions asked.

To request a refund, email us at [email protected] with your account email address. Refunds are processed via Stripe to your original payment method and typically arrive within 5–10 business days.

After the 14-day window, refunds are granted at our discretion on a case-by-case basis. We are reasonable — if you have a genuine issue, get in touch and we'll find a solution.

We use a minimal number of cookies to operate the platform:

Essential cookies

Authentication cookies keep you logged in while using the platform. These are strictly necessary and cannot be disabled.

Analytics

We may use simple, privacy-friendly analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site. These tools do not use cookies that track you across other websites and do not collect personally identifiable information.

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not participate in any ad networks.
